Fall Inspired Wedding Editorial at the Mason in Dallas

If you’re looking for fall wedding inspiration - look no further! The Mason in Dallas was constructed in 1920 and is rich in textures and detailing, which made it the perfect backdrop for this Fall Foliage Inspired Wedding Shoot. While navy and black may seem like an odd pairing, the matte black wall’s of the Mason’s downstairs ballroom provided a perfect backdrop for the textured velvet chairs from Posh Couture and the lightly patterned cream and navy linen from BBJ. With fall pheasant dinner plates and ornate gold chargers paired luxe amber glassware from Posh Couture Rentals, we tied the black and navy together with matte black candleholders and matte navy and gold flatware. The autumnal hued plates reminded me of Thanksgiving dinners, and played in perfectly with the color of the wildly textured florals by Kate McLeod Studio. We styled our bride with a luxurious dress from Elizabeth Leese and an edgy makeup look by Ashley McNabb. Lane Love Paper Co brought every thing together with a colorful die-cut invitation with a liner that mimic’d our main linen. Our ceremony space (the Mason’s grand upstairs fireplace) was wrapped in fall foliage with pops of kangaroo paw, babie’s breath, dried ferns and roses for additional dimension and to create a focal point. We tied the mustards in by sitting the simple yet impactful cake atop a mustard linen and surrounding it in more fall foliage.
