Mexican fiesta pink Wedding at Mopac Event Center and Holy Family Catholic Church in fort worth

Courtney dreamed of a Cinco de Mayo wedding. She and Andrew were both Fort Worth natives, and she loved the history and culture behind it. Though a few grades apart, they both grew up attending Holy Family Catholic Church, where her family had been members for generations. With both Holy Family and Mopac set - she had a vague idea of what she wanted. She came to me dreaming of hanging white picador flags and dancing under the stars. We chose a monochromatic color pallet of cornflower blues and shades of pinks to give a fun, dramatic flair reminiscent of Spain. White picador flags hung throughout Mopac, and a bright pink neon sing reading “the Frankos” made for a perfect photo spot. Courtney and Andrew were so laid back, between the ceremony and reception they even stopped at their favorite neighborhood bar for a beer and then to take some photos in their home! While Cinco de Mayo weddings are fun, it was wonderful turning what you usually see for them around and making something new, fresh and unique with monochromatic colors and lots of patterns!
